The Sanctuary of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is in Roxas City, Philippines. It was constructed in the last quarter of 2011 and was completed on January 5, 2015. The statue has a maximum height of 102 ft. tall overlooking Roxas City, on top of Tumandok Hill, 360 feet above sea level. It took more than three years to complete the giant statue, it was built on and off by a seven-man core team. A group of Catholic lay servant ministry were always praying the rosary at the foot of the statue whenever the construction was being done.
It was the largest life statue of Jesus in the Philippines and considered as one of the tallest statues in Asia.
The concrete road is accessible by car, jeepney and tricycle, or on foot, but you must take into consideration the condition of the weather. Also, Sacred Heart of Jesus has a van for hire to bring people uphill or downhill for only 20 pesos per person.

Nowadays, it has become one of the famous sanctuaries or pilgrimage especially during Holy Week due to its many miracles that have been occurring and answered prayers of the pilgrims. There is also a statue of Mother Mary carrying the Child Jesus and a rosary garden in front of the statue just before the church.

The shrine serves as a center of healing under the supervision of the Catholic Church. Healing sessions and Holy Masses are held regularly at the shrine. Recently, blessings of the sacred images and the church were held, and the shrine was formally donated to the Archdiocese of Capiz.
